i thought about you today. and remembered our many conversations about maryland and how you told me i would like it there! and how funny it was that we had the same judge marry us!! and how much fun i had teaching you guys cls at work i thought you should have been a medic instead of a grunt. well im moving to maryland!! i just wanted you to know. thats what made me think of you and miss you!! you were such a great friend!! i will never forget the sacrifice that you made for everyone! miss you. One year two years no day has gone by that you are not in my heart. Today only hurts a little more. We honored you my sweet boy. Your sister and I flew to Ft. Lewis to be with all your "Brothers-In-Arms". Your name is now written on a solid rock of marble where you will be forever remembered. You are loved and respected and honored more than you ever knew. You left a mark on this world that will never be forgotten. We were surrounded by love and it was because of you that we are so loved. I see in their eyes that you will never be forgotten. I miss you more than any word could ever say and I love you more each day. I still as "why" but you were right "only God knows why". Our family has grown so much because of you and we will always love your brothers as our own sons. Please wrap your arms around them all my son as you brothers are ready to depart again to that God forsaken country for another tour. I know you will keep them safe and watch out for them. Let them know that you are there watching over them please let them know that you love them and that you do not blame any of them for what happened. They need your guidance and your love so. I felt you with me in Washington and I know that it was your guidance and strenght that got me through. Your courage gives me the strenght to go on as many days I no longer want to. I talk to you every day and I wear your beautiful face around my neck to keep you close to my heart. I will never forgive myself for not being there when you needed me the most but I hope that you will be able to forgive me. I can hear your laughter and see your smile in everything I do and I would give myself to hear you say one more time "I love you Momma".

Hey there man! Hope they are treating you good up there! I know you are having a blast! I think about you all the time.. No matter where i am. I mean here lately cause the weather is nice i will go out at nite and talk to about all kinds of things and just sometimes i believe i can hear you. Some how once i have said whats on my mind i have this calmness come over me... I was thinking about the other day when your mom used to watch my sister and I about the times we would go and play in our fort. Thats was ages ago but still very fresh in my mind. I remember the many times we would play basketball or just hanging out. I miss you very much, and sad that we lost touch. I love your family more than anything. somehow when im with them they make me feel like family. Love you, i'll be talking to you again soon.

Today I met Jodi, I'm actually teaching her how to train Madi. :) I noticed she was wearing a bracelet and it had some engravings on it but I was never able to read it completely. I came to find out about you through the memorial she has displayed on her truck. She spoke of you briefly and I could see the pride and love in her eyes.
I am amazed by this woman, who says she gets up at 4:30am to go to the gym, then goes to college, THEN .. goes to her son's school and volunteers each day .. THEN .. well, the list goes on and on. I know you must be watching over her and your son, feeling so proud of what she is accomplishing. Having only met her for the first time today, she has my utmost respect for what she is accomplishing. She is so happy, so friendly and so full of life. I feel lucky to have met her today and I look forward to continuing to get to know her. Through her, I may get to know a bit about you as well, at least I hope to be so lucky to find out more about you.

Goodness where do I start. I know while we were growing up we were together all the time because your mom would watch my sister and I. And I took all that for granted. Now that you are gone I am so upset at myself for letting us get so far seperated after graduation, and I know once you leave highschool everyone goes their own way. But I still remember that one day I saw you at Mcdonalds and we got to talk and catch up in a matter of like 15 minutes it was almost as though time didn't skip a beat, like were were still as close as we were growing up. You would be happy to know that I made your family a very special blanket. I was so proud of myself to be able to accomplish something so special not only in your honor but for your family as well, I know it will be something that will forever be in your family. To let all of your neices or nephews to come in the future that they will know how much you mean to everyone that ever had the pleasure to know you and call you a friend. I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to say goodbye to you, but i want you to know that I am always thinking about you. I didn't come and see you when it was time for everyone's last good byes for now. I only didn't come because I wanted to remember the warm smile that you gave me and the hug that I recieved from you because I always thought of you more of the brother that I didn't have. We were always in the same classes growing up. I go and visit your page everyday on myspace to see your picture because then I have all of these happy memories that definatley out weigh the bad ones. I will come and visit you one day soon. I know your birthday is also coming up. Man I miss you. So when I go outside at night I look up at the stars and talk to you, And I know you can hear me because on those clear nights i feel that you are here with me and helping with whatever I'm talking about.

It been about 7 months since you were taking from our lives.... the days are getting long and there not getting any easier. I see the pain on everyones face when your name is mentioned... a pain so deep that I know, no matter what, nothings going to make it better. Growing up with your family has been one of the best experiences in my life, seeing the love you all shared, the trust you all had, the bond that couldnt be broke. I walk in your house and you are everywhere and I actually forget for a moment that you are gone. I just hope wherever you are you are looking over her....shes so lost without you (you know who I mean). They are all so lost without you. Miss you Brandon.....
